Welcome Drinks Reception

Glasgow City Chambers

Glasgow City Chambers is situated in the heart of the city, in the civic square, George Square.

Dating back to 1888, the stunning design is the result of an architectural competition, won by Paisley-born architect, William Young.

The impressive Italian Renaissance-style City Chambers building features western Europe's largest marble staircase, built using Carrara marble imported from Italy.

The City Chambers is not available to hire privately, so a civic reception provides a unique and memorable opportunity to enjoy the building.

Address: City Chambers, Glasgow, G2 1DU
